B.I.O.Zink SL is a water-soluble complementary feed with organically bound zinc, copper, manganese, betaine and B vitamins. It supports nutrition in cases of nutritional imbalance during feed transition in poultry, pigs and ruminants. The trace elements are supplied as glycine chelate (E.C.O.Trace), which makes them readily available. B.I.O.Zink SL is administered via the drinking water, especially around ration changes and during phases of particular stress.

What is B.I.O.Zink SL used for?

• Feed transition and stress – Supports nutrition in cases of nutritional imbalance during ration changes and phases of particular stress.
• Skin, mucous membranes and keratin – Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and intact mucous membranes and is involved in keratin formation (claws, hooves, beak, feathering, coat).
• Metabolism and growth – Zinc, copper and manganese are cofactors of numerous enzymes and play a role in normal protein and energy metabolism.
• Water balance in the gut – Betaine acts as an osmolyte and helps intestinal cells maintain their water balance.
• Fertility and vitality – According to the label, also for use in cases of silent heat, low insemination success and reduced vitality.

How do you use B.I.O.Zink SL? (dosage and use)

• Dosage: 1 kg per 1,000 litres of drinking water.
• Duration of use: suitable during ration changes and phases of particular stress; use for 2 to 15 days.
• When medicating via the drinking water: use B.I.O.Zink SL separately; do not mix it with the medication.
• Important: this complementary feed contains zinc at a concentration exceeding 100 times the applicable maximum content in complete feed. Therefore use up to a maximum of 2% of the daily ration and observe the legal maximum zinc content in complete feed.
• Advice: before use, or before extending the period of use, seek advice from a feed adviser or veterinarian.

For poultry, pigs and ruminants. It is a supplement to the ration and does not replace a complete feed or a veterinary medicine.

Storage

Shelf life 12 months from the production date when stored in the original packaging, cool (< 25 °C) and dry. The product attracts water — close the packaging well after use.
