Stress Factors

Environmental and management stressors are the main reasons for reduced economic efficiency of modern livestock. Stress factors that affect productivity include:

• Moving

• Vaccination

• Crowding

• Agitation

• Feed changes

• Hot climate and high humidity

Physiological responses to stress

Stressors can trigger a cascade of physiological responses. Various hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline are involved. Consequently, energy expenditure increases due to heightened alertness while immune defense is compromised. Even short-term stressors can have serious negative economic consequences regarding biological performance and disease resistance.

Innovative formulation with synergistic effects

The various ingredients of Stress Pack® SL act at different sites in the endocrine and neuromuscular system, allowing them to address stress factors and reduce the development of stress symptoms.

The efficiency of the combined components of the product exceeds the sum of the individual components.

Synergistic effects of the four components result in a significant reduction in stress hormones. The balanced formulation helps maintain performance parameters such as weight gain and feed conversion.

  • Reduces stress
  • Improves local immune defense
  • Maintains performance during stress periods
  • Breaks the cycle of action and reaction
  • Maintains feed conversion and weight gain during stress
  • Contains, among other things, Vitamin C, L-Tryptophan (amino acid), betaine, and magnesium
