What is silicon?

After oxygen, silicon is the most abundant element in the Earth's crust. In the body, it occurs in small amounts as a trace element, mainly in connective tissue, bones, tendons, hair and nails. Pets usually get only a little silicon in an easily absorbed form from their food.

Daily dosage

Give Silicium daily mixed into the food. After the two-month build-up phase, you can switch to the maintenance dose. How long does a bottle last? For a cat, 500 ml lasts just over 3.5 months, including the build-up phase. A dog needs about 525 ml in the first two months. After that, a bottle lasts about 100 days at the maintenance dose.
