7. Your pet will likely shake its head after treatment, which helps shake out any loosened debris. (It is recommended to perform the ear cleaning outside to make cleanup easier).
8. Dry the ear with a clean cotton pad.
9. If the ear flap needs cleaning, the easiest way is to use a cotton pad soaked in Derma-Otic.

The treatment can be repeated 1-3 times a week or according to your veterinarian’s instructions, depending on your pet’s specific needs.
