Example of calculation in drinking water VIRKON S with Dosatron D3WL2VF::

A. DATA CONSUMED WATER & FINAL DOSE VIRKON S:

· Average daily volume of water in the building: 2000 l of water drunk/day
· Maximum final concentration of Virkon S: 1g/liter of water drunk, in this calculation we take 0,5g/liter (0.05%)

B. DOSATRON DOSER MODEL & ADJUSTMENT:

· Dosatron D3WL2 VF adjustment (0.2% to 2%): 0,5% (1/200)

C. MOTHER SOLUTION TO PREPARE:

· Weight of Virkon H20 for 24 h = 2000 l/day x 1g/l: 1kg Virkon™S powder
· Volume of stock solution consumed per 24 h = 2000 liters / 200 (0.5%): 10 liters/day os stock solution
· Concentration stock solution Virkon S = 1 g / l x 200: 100 g/l in stock solution
· For 10 days of stock solution multiply the result by 10: 100 liters water with 10 kg ofVirkon™S
